School 33 Art Center - Classes, Gallery, Studios 1427 Light Street 410-396-4641 TTD 410-396-4642 Created in 1979 by the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Art and Culture, School 33 Art Center is a focal point for contemporary art in the region and includes: three gallery spaces which host exhibitions by talented and prominent artists; affordable classes and workshops for children and adults; subsidized studios for artists; and special events like the annual "Open Studio Tour" in the Spring and "Lotta Art" in the Fall. South Baltimore Improvement Committee, Inc. SBIC is a neighborhood association in South Baltimore representing the residents within the area bounded by Cross Street to the north, McComas Street to the south, Race Street to the west and Light Street to the East.
