Riverside Avenue and Fort Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21230
Riverside Avenue is the only Baltimore City avenue that directly connects two city parks, Federal Hill Park and Riverside park. This cross-street is really only a few blocks long, but is a very popular place to be; with the "March of the Brass Lamps" being quite evident.
Riverside Ave is one of the most sought-after streets by real estate shoppers in South Baltimore. Most of the homes have been restored, rehabbed or completely rebuilt. The location allows for a reasonable walk to the Inner Harbor and/or work places downtown. The block just to the south of Fort Ave also gets very little traffic, making that [maybe] the most desirable block on the entire Avenue.
